TechBehemoths is a Berlin-based platform that connects businesses with trusted IT and digital service providers through a global directory, and regularly publishes industry insights and interviews like this one. 

Our Director and COO, Tareq Bin Ali, was invited to contribute alongside Gary Wells of Webmaster Services Hawaii and Sonia Algaba Benito of IMAP Internet Marketing Agency, two respected voices in the SEO space from the U.S. and Spain. 

Together, the three panelists tackled the SEO questions businesses ask most often, sharing practical insights drawn from their experience working with businesses across different industries.

Drawing on his engineering background and years working with organizations ranging from Silicon Valley startups to Fortune 500 companies, Tareq shared that the first 12 months of SEO are largely invisible work, and that the real marker of success by month twelve is momentum, not a finish line.

He also emphasized fixing the technical foundation first before investing further, and pointed to brand authority as an area many companies still underestimate.

Asked how to tell if an SEO provider is delivering real value, Tareq said to look for transparency, with a good partner tying their work to business outcomes like qualified traffic, conversions, and revenue. In " On content in the age of AI Overviews," he pointed to original research and genuine expertise as what AI can't replicate, summing up his approach as "citable and irreplaceable."
