User-Centered Design Strategy
Adopted a research-driven, user-centered design approach informed by insights gathered from an extensive survey of 800+ students, faculty, and administrative staff to deeply understand real user pain points.


The previous website suffered from poor site architecture, redundant information, and a lack of intuitive navigation, making it frustrating for students, faculty, and staff to find what they needed efficiently.
Users struggled to locate critical information including academic programs, faculty directories, tuition fees, payment procedures, and important academic dates, creating significant confusion among prospective and current students.
Essential resources such as the university library, department contact details, and administrative office information were either buried or entirely inaccessible, hindering the daily experience of over 800+ surveyed users.
The website failed to adequately showcase career opportunities, internships, and job placements, leaving students uninformed about crucial professional development resources available through the university.

Restructured the entire content hierarchy to reflect the actual mental models of users, clearly segmenting core sections such as Academics, Admissions, Research, Campus Life, and Career Services.
Mapped out primary user journeys based on survey responses — from prospective students seeking admission info to staff accessing library resources — ensuring streamlined and intuitive access to desired content.
Eliminated duplicate and outdated content across the platform, centralizing information about faculty, departments, and research into organized, easily accessible sections.
Designed a modern, mobile-friendly interface while incorporating interactive elements such as FAQs, tuition calculators, academic calendars, and a contact directory to significantly reduce user friction.
