Junior SEO Specialist

Notionhive Bangladesh Ltd. is looking for a Junior SEO Specialist to join our growing team. We want someone who owns their work, thinks strategically, and stays ahead of how search is changing especially with the rise of AI in search.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research keywords and map search intent to find ranking opportunities across the funnel
• Build and maintain a prioritized ranking roadmap with clear KPIs
• Perform on-page optimization, title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, content structure
• Write detailed SEO content briefs aligned with search intent, E-E-A-T, and topical authority
• Collaborate with developers to identify and fix technical SEO issues, crawlability, page speed, Core Web Vitals, schema markup
• Own weekly and monthly SEO performance reports with clear insights and action points
• Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and content performance regularly
• Conduct competitor analysis and identify content and backlink gap opportunities

Accountability Standards:

• Take full ownership of assigned SEO deliverables and outcomes
• Proactively flag issues early with data and a revised plan, no blame-shifting
• Be measured on organic traffic growth, ranking movement, and reporting quality
• Communicate clearly and consistently with the team and leadership

Required SEO Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of on-page and technical SEO fundamentals
• Keyword research and clustering
• Content strategy and search intent mapping
• Ranking signals and algorithm basics
• Proficiency with tools: Google Search Console, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Ahrefs or Semrush, Screaming Frog, Hotjar, Surfer SEO or Clearscope, Looker Studio, PageSpeed Insights, Rank Math or Yoast, Bing Webmaster Tools, etc. 
• Experience briefing or writing SEO-optimized content

AI & Modern Search — Non-Negotiable:

• Must stay actively updated on AI-driven search developments
• Familiar with Google AI Overviews, Search Generative Experience (SGE), and how LLMs influence search behavior
• Understands and applies Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) tactics
• Regularly follows industry sources, Search Engine Journal, Search Engine Land, Google Search Central Blog
• Brings new AI search findings to the team and proposes strategy adjustments accordingly

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on SEO experience, or strong demonstrable self-taught work
• Analytical thinker with clear written and verbal communication skills
• Habit of continuous learning and staying updated without being told
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
• Someone who genuinely cares about the craft and wants to grow fast

Job Details:

• Office workdays: Sunday to Thursday (5 Days); subject to periodic changes based on project requirements.
• Office working hours: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm; subject to periodic changes based on project requirements.
